Color Magic makes available templates for postcards and brochures.   Open templates in Photoshop at 300dpi.
     On all templates there is a red box around the outside, this is for bleed.  If you are printing something with an image that goes to the edge of your product, you will need to make sure the image extends into the red area on the templates. 
      There is also a blue box 1/16” inside the trim line.  It is not advisable to have text go all the way out to the edge of the product.  This blue box is a safety area that will help guide you in keeping your text a safe distance away from the edge of the product.
Most of the templates have one for direct mail.  These templates have the address area marked  that will need to be kept clear of print, along with the indicia area.  There is some flexibility in the mail templates.  Please contact Color Magic if you’re not sure about changing any of the direct mail areas within the template.
